Privacy Policy

Who we are

BetValue AI (https://www.betvalueai.com) is a sports betting analytics service operated by NIKDAK LTD ("NIKDAK LTD", "we", "us"). We provide market-consensus odds comparison, AI-adjusted probability estimates, and a public track record of past signals. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

NIKDAK LTD is the data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with your use of BetValue AI.

Information we collect

Account data: when you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (handled entirely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text; see "Authentication and database" below).

Usage data: which plan you are on (Free or Pro), and a daily count of how many AI analyses you have run. We do not store the content of every analysis you request as part of your account profile — see "AI analysis usage" below for what happens with a specific analysis request.

Consent records: if you signed up after this policy took effect, we record which version of these documents you agreed to and when, for our own accountability — see "Signup consent" below.

Anonymous demo identifiers: if you use AI Analyze without an account, we record a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your device identifier and your IP address — never the raw values — solely to enforce a one-time free demo and a soft anti-abuse limit. See "Anonymous demo protection" below.

Payment data: we do not collect or store your card number, expiry date, or CVC. See "Payment processing" below.

Technical data: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated automatically by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes.

Authentication and database

We use Supabase to provide user authentication and to host our database. Your session is kept signed-in via a token stored in your browser's local storage; it is never sent to any third party other than Supabase and our own servers. Access to your data in our database is restricted by row-level security: your account row is readable only by you (via your authenticated session) or by our own server-side systems — never directly by other users.

AI analysis usage

When you request an AI analysis for a specific match, the team/fixture details you provide are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, which processes that data on our behalf to generate a probability estimate. This request data is used to generate your result and is not linked back to your account for any purpose beyond enforcing your daily usage limit. We do not use your analysis requests to train any AI model.

Anonymous demo protection

To offer a one-time free AI analysis without requiring an account, we set a random, non-identifying device cookie and compute a one-way cryptographic hash (HMAC-SHA256) of both that cookie value and your IP address. Only these hashes are stored, in a dedicated database table — your raw IP address and raw device identifier are never written to that table or retained anywhere by us. The hashes are used only to (a) ensure each device gets exactly one free demo, and (b) apply a soft limit of a few demos per network address per day to deter abuse. A cryptographic hash of this kind is designed to be extremely difficult to reverse, but as with any security measure we cannot promise absolute, unconditional security — see "Security" below. These hashes are never used for tracking, profiling, or advertising.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and browser-storage items, all strictly functional: a signed-in session token (browser local storage, via Supabase), a theme preference (light/dark), and — only if you use the anonymous AI Analyze demo — the httpOnly device cookie described above. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Payment processing

Pro subscription payments are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. BetValue AI does not store, and never has access to, your full card number, expiry date, or security code — this data is entered directly on Stripe's own secure checkout page and is handled by Stripe, not by us. We store only what Stripe tells us back: your subscription status, renewal date, and a Stripe customer reference id, so we can display your plan and let you manage billing.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Anonymous demo hash records are retained to enforce the abuse limits described above; we may periodically remove older records once they are no longer relevant to those limits. If you delete your account (see "Your rights" below), we delete your profile and associated usage data, except where we are required to retain limited records (e.g. for tax/accounting purposes related to a paid subscription) or where data has already been anonymized (e.g. your contribution to the public Performance track record, which never identifies you personally in the first place — see below).

The public Performance track record

BetValue AI publishes a track record of past AI-flagged value opportunities (selection, odds, result) once they are settled, for transparency. This record is never linked to any individual user — it reflects signals generated by our automated scanner, not analyses you personally requested.

Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers necessary to run BetValue AI: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), OpenAI (AI analysis processing), Stripe (payment processing), and Vercel (application hosting). Each processes data under its own privacy terms and only for the purpose of providing their service to us. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Your rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. You can permanently delete your account and its associated account data (profile, usage history, saved batches) at any time directly from Account settings inside the app — any active subscription is canceled first. Payment processors such as Stripe may retain their own transaction records under their own applicable retention and legal requirements, independent of your BetValue AI account. We will respond to any other request within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity (e.g. by confirming the email address on your account) before acting on it. If you are in the EU/EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

We restrict access to your data using row-level database security, keep all administrative credentials and API keys server-side (never exposed to the browser), and rely on our service providers' own security practices (Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI, Vercel) for the infrastructure underlying our service. We take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee perfect or absolute security, and we do not promise one.

Age requirement

BetValue AI is intended for users 18 years of age or older only, consistent with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date below and, where appropriate, ask returning users to re-confirm their consent.
